When the father turns one of these crystals into a bracelet for his daughter, it becomes a symbol of the connection between them. However, when the father becomes trapped on an alien world, the heroes must join forces to create a portal that can connect the two worlds. In this complex scientific endeavour, the role of Ellie’s mother also proves important due to her expertise and technical prowess.
