
Enchanted Stories 2: PAWisoned Kingdom (Bonus Chapter) – Continues the story of Castelia at a time when it seems that everything should have returned to normal after the conspiracy was uncovered. But the kingdom barely had time to catch its breath before merchants began disappearing from the docks and trading districts, along with those who conducted business on the edge of the law. No one understands what is behind the series of disappearances, but the latest message from a traveling merchant causes even the palace to take notice: all of the missing people were smugglers, and judging by the tremor in his voice, he fears that he will now lose his partner as well. Felicia and Diego are summoned to the palace, where news of the disappearances has already reached the king. The trail ends in the back alleys, a place where Diego feels confident. The king does not send guards because a delicate approach is needed here; there are too many rumors and too few facts, and any wrong move could scare off the culprits. If things go awry, the guards will intervene, but for now, the decision is yours. At the docks, you meet an old acquaintance who complains about the smell of donkeys but immediately perks up at the sight of Felicia and Diego. His friend has also disappeared and, according to him, was not involved in any dirty business. Before his disappearance, he received a strange unsigned letter with only the seal of the brotherhood. Only a few people know this symbolism, the brotherhood of midnight. It is either a cult or an underground group that people prefer not to talk about openly. Before going any further, they advise you to stop by the tavern, a place where rumors always precede the truth. A hired killer, who by all rights should be sitting in a prison cell, is sitting at a table and asks with a smirk if you want to fix that. His audacity borders on a smile, and his demand to pour him milk from a barrel sounds like a strange ritual known only to those who are used to living by someone else’s rules. Diego quietly explains that this is his way of greeting people, and it’s easier to agree, otherwise he’ll never speak. There are no taps or plugs on the barrel, and you realize that you are being offered a test. But it’s impossible to refuse, because behind this milk lies information that could lead you to the missing merchants. And you are ready to show that no test can stop those who have already saved the kingdom once.
