Crime Shadows 1: Stolen Spotlight (Bonus Chapter) – After a dangerous encounter with Lloyd, it becomes clear what the ending of his deranged film was supposed to be: he planned a tragic conclusion in which both he and actress Catherine Dawson would die. Fortunately, this plan was thwarted, but the investigation doesn’t end there. While the police search for Lloyd, Catherine is forced to hide out at the country home of her agent, Jeff Sunrise. Detective Leonard Wood and his partner Alissa continue to piece together what happened, gathering new evidence and trying to figure out who else might be involved in this strange story. Alissa hands you the fingerprints collected from Catherine’s clothes, and now it’s up to you to examine them in the lab and figure out who they belong to. Catherine is gradually coming to her senses after what she’s been through, although the drugs her kidnappers gave her have affected her memory. Nevertheless, from time to time she begins to recall important details. For example, the actress says that Jeff once hid a spare key to his house somewhere on the pier. This might help you get inside and find a safe place to hide until the situation becomes clearer. As you explore the house, you’ll gradually discover its hidden corners. Behind a large painting, there is a secret passage leading to a small private movie room where the homeowner used to retreat. Perhaps this is where you’ll be able to wait out the danger and calmly continue your investigation. However, the further you go, the more questions arise, there are strange details in the house, and the security system is acting suspiciously. Gradually, you’ll uncover new details of the story involving the people around Catherine, and you’ll find out whether everything really ended after Lloyd’s capture, or if there might be something more behind what’s happening.
