Edge of Reality 10: Island of Shadows (Bonus Chapter) – Takes you back to the events leading up to the main story and offers a different perspective on what’s happening. This time, you play as Amelia, the wife of Elder Jesse, and it’s up to you to unravel the chain of events that led to the disaster. The story begins during the Festival of Balance, when the island’s inhabitants bring offerings to the temple in honor of the Key to the Island, an ancient artifact that maintains the balance of nature’s forces. Everything proceeds peacefully until the unthinkable happens: the artifact vanishes right from the sanctuary. From that moment on, the elements spiral out of control, and the island finds itself on the brink of destruction. The situation is complicated by the fact that your husband becomes the prime suspect. He is accused of theft and collusion with outsiders, with a strange coin and his presence at the temple before dawn cited as evidence. Despite this, he denies the charges and claims that he was the one trying to catch the real thief. But when he escapes from prison, the suspicions only grow stronger, and now he faces exile. You must not only search for the stolen artifact but also prove Jesse’s innocence. As you progress, you’ll rescue survivors, help the sage Linden contain the destructive forces of nature, and search for a way to restore balance. To do this, you’ll need to explore the temple, the village, and the surrounding area, find lost items such as the rune of wind, and decipher records and rituals. You’ll learn about the past, the relationships between the characters, and the growing tension within the community. Suspicion, accusations, and the struggle for power only make the situation worse, and you must act while time is running out.
