Halloween Stories 9: The Death Card (Bonus Chapter) – This time, you play as Dorian Gray, Richard’s son, who must gather the missing pieces of the past and figure out what lies beyond the main story. At the center of events is the spirit of Hilda, stuck between the world of the living and the world of the dead. Her attempt to contact her friend Carolina Larsen leads to unexpected consequences, the spirit board is destroyed, and the path across the River Styx remains closed to her. Hilda does not remember the moment of her death and does not know how much time has passed since then, but she understands one thing: she will not be able to move on until she passes on her powers to her successor and restores her lost legacy. The journey takes you to the Pier of the Lost, where the ferryman refuses to let Hilda pass because of her connection to the world of the living. On Halloween night, things get even more complicated: the spirits get out of control, the ferryman’s staff disappears, and the order of the crossing is disrupted. You must help the spirits, guide them to the boats, and gradually get closer to the answers hidden on both sides of reality. Ulrik Larsen, Carolina’s descendant, plays an important role in this story. It is through him that new details of an ancient tragedy, an ancient key hidden in a crypt, and the reasons why Carolina’s soul was unable to cross the river are revealed. As it turns out, all the answers are not to be found among the dead, but in the world of the living.
